The challenge: the Western New York mineral buildup

The Alpha process: targeted descaling

• Acidic gel application: We applied a specialized, non-toxic descaling gel directly to the glass. Unlike liquid sprays that run down into the frame, the gel clings to the vertical surface, allowing the mild acid to dwell and dissolve the calcium bonds.
• Non-abrasive agitation: Once the scale was softened, we used a zero-grade, ultra-fine polishing pad designed specifically for glass. This provides just enough friction to lift the dissolved minerals without scratching.
• Squeegee and polish: The slurry was removed with a professional squeegee, and the edges were detailed with surgical huck towels to ensure a completely lint-free, streak-free finish.

The result: a perfect reflection

The transformation is night and day. The thick, white fog was completely removed, revealing a flawless, factory-fresh reflection.
